What do you require from the venue?
Four armless chairs and an appropriate, accessible, safe place to store instrument cases whilst playing.
What ensemble sizes do you offer?
String quartets, trios and duos - and piano duos, either violin and piano or cello and piano. Happy to advise the best option based on your venue size and budget.
I would like a song/ music not on your repertoire list - can you play this?
The repertoire list is always expanding - get in touch to discuss any music not on the list!
How far will you travel?
The group is based in Glasgow but are happy to travel across Scotland - additional fees will be added to compensate for travel expenses and time. Rosewood have played all across Scotland and frequently play across the central belt.
Will you accompany a singer?
Rosewood have accompanied singers at many performances. As long as there is enough time to discuss music and rehearse on the performance day this is usually no problem. Please note (unless this is for hymns) usually music has to be arranged for this as the standard repertoire is not arranged for accompanying purposes.
How do I confirm a booking?
To confirm a booking, a contract will be sent out to be signed and returned alongside a 30% non refundable booking fee. This confirms your booking!
